Dubai Outdoor Design LLC was started in 2012 by Sujan Mahmud to fill a gap: most outdoor structures sold in the UAE weren’t designed for 50°C summers, coastal humidity, or sandstorms. We spec materials that actually last here — UV-resistant fabrics, powder-coated steel that handles salt air, and timber treated for extreme heat.
We handle the full cycle for every project. Site assessment, custom design, fabrication in our workshop, and installation by our own crew — no subcontractors, no handoffs. How long does a car parking shade installation take?
Most residential parking shade installations are completed within one to two days. Larger commercial projects with multiple bays may take three to five days. We schedule around your availability and can work evenings if needed.
What’s the difference between a gazebo and a pergola?
A gazebo typically has a solid roof and enclosed sides (partially or fully). A pergola has an open lattice roof that provides partial shade while allowing airflow. For UAE outdoor spaces, pergolas work well where you want shade without trapping heat.
Do you handle municipality approvals?
We can guide you through what’s typically required, but the property owner is responsible for obtaining approvals. Our structures are designed to comply with common municipality requirements for materials, setbacks, and structural loads.
What warranty do you provide?
Warranty terms depend on the product and scope. Fabric parking shades typically carry 5-10 year manufacturer warranties on UV degradation. Structural elements (steel frames, mezzanine floors) carry workmanship warranties — we specify the exact terms in your quote.
Can I get a quote without a site visit?
For straightforward jobs with clear dimensions and photos, we can provide a ballpark quote remotely. For anything involving structural work (mezzanine floors, steel platforms) or custom designs, we need to see the site to give an accurate quote.
